The jaw and tongue stretch is a bodyweight facial exercise targeting the jaw and tongue muscles. It involves opening the mouth wide and extending the tongue downward to stretch and tone the lower face and neck area.

How to do it

  1. Sit upright with your mouth closed and face relaxed.
  2. Open your mouth wide, then extend your tongue downward toward your chin as far as comfortable.
  3. Simultaneously tilt your head slightly upward to increase the stretch in the jaw and neck.
  4. Hold the stretched position for 5 seconds.
  5. Slowly close your mouth and return to the neutral position.
  6. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
