Blinking resistance is a bodyweight facial exercise targeting the muscles around the eyes. It involves closing the eyelids against gentle finger resistance to strengthen and tone the eye area.

How to do it

  1. Sit upright with your face relaxed and eyes open.
  2. Place your index fingers lightly on the outer corners of your eyes to create gentle resistance.
  3. Slowly close your eyes against the resistance of your fingers, squeezing the eyelids shut.
  4. Hold the closed position for 2–3 seconds, then slowly open your eyes.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
