The wall standing leg lift up is a bodyweight exercise using the wall for balance while performing a straight-leg front raise. It targets the hip flexors and engages the quads and core, suitable for hip flexor strengthening and lower body activation.

How to do it

  1. Stand facing the wall and place both hands lightly against it at shoulder height.
  2. Stand tall and shift your weight onto one leg.
  3. Lift the opposite leg straight up in front of you as high as comfortable, keeping the knee extended.
  4. Hold briefly at the top, then slowly lower the leg back to the floor.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch legs.
