Standing Wrist Flexor Stretch is a bodyweight stretching exercise targeting the forearm flexors. Extending and bending the wrist backward gently lengthens the muscles and tendons of the inner forearm, commonly used to prevent or relieve repetitive strain injuries.

How to do it

  1. Extend one arm in front of you with your palm facing upward.
  2. Use your other hand to gently pull your fingers downward and back toward your body.
  3. Hold the stretch when you feel tension along the inside of your forearm and wrist.
  4. Hold for 20-30 seconds.
  5. Switch hands and repeat.

Form cues

Breathing: Inhale deeply to prepare, and exhale slowly as you gently deepen the stretch.
