External thigh out seated floor version I is a variation of the seated external thigh stretch with both knees bent and one knee allowed to fall outward. The hand pressure deepens the adductor and hip rotator stretch in this seated position.

How to do it

  1. Sit on the floor with both knees bent and feet flat.
  2. Allow one knee to fall outward to the floor while keeping the other upright.
  3. Gently press the dropped knee further toward the floor with your hand.
  4. Hold for 20–30 seconds.
  5. Switch sides and repeat.
